Annette Tidd

Annette Tidd is one of the finest competitive Lawn Bowlers in the history of Nova Scotia. During a 32 year span, from 1973 to 2004, Annette represented Nova Scotia at the Canadian Lawn Bowls Championships a total of 29 times. Twenty-nine Provincial Championship Titles. This is an amazing record of consistency and skill.

Moving on to the Atlantic Canadian Lawn Bowls Championships, Annette won 9 Gold Medals and 7 Silver Medals.

Annette won three Canadian Lawn Bowls Championship Titles, one each in 1980, 2002 and 2004. She won eight Canadian Championship Silver Medals and four Bronze Medals. Annette Tidd was a member of Team Canada at the 1981 World Women’s Bowls held in Willowdale, Ontario.

On many occasions, Annette qualified and competed in The Canadian Mixed Pairs Championships and in the Canadian Senior Lawn Bowl Championships.

In 2008, Annette was honored by the Canadian Lawn Bowls Executive at that year’s Championships for her excellence and contribution to the sport of Lawn Bowling.
